Giant clamTridacna gigasRaja Empat, Papua, Indonesia Fuji F2 12-24 mm @ 12, 1/125 @ f/10 T. Gigas is the largest bivalve mollusc in the world, and this is about as big as they get. According to the book, the maximum size is 1.3 m., and this one seemed at least that big. Should have measured. Mark H. likes it too. Taken at the lovely Melissa's reef. |
