Queensland grouper (inter.)

Fuji F2 12-24 mm @ 12, 1/90 @ f/8

This is not a full adult, with some juvenile coloration.

Full-grown Queensland groupers can reach a toal length of nearly 3 meters, and bulk up quite a bit. (We saw one full-sized adult, on a deep dive, but my photograph was terrible.)

This photo was taken near the bottom of the mangrove channel.
