We had spotted these two cheetahs - or their eyes at least - the night before during a night drive, so we came back to the same place the next morning, hoping they might still be around. The ranger guiding our vehicle spotted them in the grass, but they were almost invisible. We briefly left, then returned. Moments later both cheetah's walked out of the brush veldt and crossed the road just behind our parked vehicle.
