Polling Station in North Tabanan

Still at our first polling station, actually two stations, one above the other, in Pupuan, in the north part of Tabanan.

I don't know how the traditional dress thing started. Apparently the provincial KPU sent out a directive over the summer asking all polling station staff to wear traditional dress. People picked up on this. By election day, not only the polling station staff but the vast majority of the voters everywhere we went were also all wearing traditional dress. It was nice.
