TSP in Pupuan, Tabanan

This was the first TPS we visited on 20 September. We had to leave my house at 5:00 am to get to this small town in Pupuan district before the polling stations opened at 7:00 am. Barber's Violin Concerto on the CD player in Nyoman's Kijang made the before dawn drive go easier.

We had met with the EU observers, who were also monitoring in Tabanan, but planned to stay in the southern part of the regency. I'd done a circle in central and northern Tabanan in July. This time we headed to the northwest corner of the regency, intending to work our way south towards Selemadeg, hitting as many TPSs as we could before they started closing, which in fact happened earlier than anyone had anticipated.
