Tobelo is reputedly the biggest town in Halmahera. You could be forgiven for mistaking it for just a wide part in the road - you can walk from one end of the town to the other in less than ten minutes.

But I counted four churches. This one is by far the biggest and grandest building in the town, and apparently there are more.
